Stewart Cink’s domination of the PGA Tour Champions continued this weekend, and this time, it resulted in a home-state win for the Florence native. The Bradshaw High School alumnus won the Regions Tradition at Greystone Golf and Country Club in Birmingham.
By carding an 18-under-par 270, Cink finished three strokes clear of the field for his second major championship of the season in 50-and-older golf. Two weeks ago, Cink won the Senior PGA Championship.
“I could get used to this,” Cink told The Associated Press. “It’s not ever going to get old. Age is an important factor on the PGA Tour Champions, and I’m still on the younger side.”…
