KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Bikers assembled this morning to ride to Chilhowee Lake, each raising money for Dream Connection, a nonprofit that helps children with serious illnesses.
The organization helped Chauncey Battle, who was diagnosed with leukemia in 2022. He is now in remission. Dream Connection sent Chauncey and his family to Walt Disney World and Universal Studios a few months ago.
“It really was fun to hang out as a family. I think it brings us closer as a family to, like, go to Disney World and, like, stay for, like, a few days and hang out with each other and make memories and stuff,” Chauncey said…
