KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A KCKPS public document shows the district’s executive director of special education, Dr. Ja’Kyta Lawrie was fired.
The document lists Lawrie under “Administrators Involuntary Separations” with a separation reason of “Resolution – to Non-Renew” effective June 30, 2026. The entry was carried over from the April 28, 2026 personnel report.
