WEBB CITY, Mo. — A Webb City auto glass company has some advice for vehicles and their drivers affected by last week’s large hail in Springfield.
Part owner of C&E Autoglass Evan Lane says there’s generally a few things you can do to air on the side of caution after your car has been damaged.

He says if you have to drive with the damage, it’s always a good idea to wear eye protection in case the glass falls through. Perhaps the number one tip he gives though, is to be wary of different shop’s quotes, and always go to multiple shops for a different opinion…
