A senior at Sebring McKinley, who was voted in as Saturday’s prom king, was denied entry into his senior prom dance after he had never picked up his ticket.
17-year-old Maxwell Hawkins learned he was not allowed to attend the big event late last week.
His mother, Katrina Salyers, tells 21 News that her son, while disappointed, did say he takes responsibility for failing to pick up his free ticket during the available times, but he hoped to pick it up before the dance this past Saturday. But that was not the case…
