As investigators continued to look for a driver who caused an early morning hit-and-run crash in Playa del Rey, the mother of a 1-year-old boy killed in the collision broke silence Monday, sharing her heartbreak with the community.
The crash happened on Vista Del Mar Avenue near Culver Boulevard at around 4:34 a.m. on Sunday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
