MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office reports that two guns were found at separate high school proms recently.
RCSO reports that the handguns were found in an adult La Vergne High School student’s rental car, attending the high school prom at the fountains in Murfreesboro on Saturday — the other was found in an adult guest’s vehicle attending Stewarts Creek High School’s prom at MTSU on April 25.
Trevor Carter, 19, was charged with possession of a weapon at a school function. He’s been released on a $2,000 bond from the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center…
