The Week in Winners: $200,000 scratch-off prize is Maryland Lottery’s top win of the week

BALTIMORE, MD—A scratch-off ticket sold in Prince George’s County delivered a $200,000 payday last week, marking the largest win in a period that saw the Maryland Lottery pay out more than $31.1 million in total prizes.

The top-tier winning ticket was sold in Bowie, lottery officials announced Monday. Two other significant prizes of $100,000 each were claimed during the week of April 27 through May 3, including a scratch-off sold in Accokeek and a Fast Play ticket purchased in Cumberland.

The week proved lucrative for several other players across the state. A Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was sold in Upper Marlboro, while six players each won $25,000 on Pick 5 tickets sold in Baltimore, Chesapeake Beach, Clements, Laurel, Odenton, and Oxon Hill.
