STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Police have not yet released the identity of a woman whose body was recovered from the water on Friday near the Ocean Breeze Fishing Pier along the Franklin D. Roosevelt Boardwalk, police said.
An NYPD spokesperson said the identity of the woman, 49, was still being withheld until her family could be notified. No further details were available.
