Sheriff: 4 deputies, K-9 injured in arrest of Clay County Most Wanted suspect

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A 54-year-old man faced multiple charges in Clay County and was taken into custody after evading law enforcement and a sheriff’s office K-9 Friday evening, deputies stated.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office stated that Eric Frazer had been wanted for failing to appear on a Valentine’s Law charge for fleeing a traffic stop. Deputies stated that he had run from deputies twice within the last month alone.

After learning that Frazer was at the home of a relative in the 16800 block of Ragsdale Road, northeast of Kearney, on Monday evening, deputies went inside the residence to confront him.

When deputies did not find him, even after a drone search, K-9 Argos alerted them to a bathroom with an opening to the attic. A drone found Frazer was hiding in the attic, and he refused to come out, a release stated…
