Man accused of shooting at person, home in Beloit pleads guilty

JANESVILLE, Wis. — A man accused of shooting at a person and a home in Beloit last year pleaded guilty Friday, online court records show.

Marvin Marshall, 20, was charged with four counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety. He pleaded guilty to two counts and the two others were dismissed but read into the court record. A felony charge of possessing a firearm as an adjudicated delinquent was also dismissed but read in.

A criminal complaint alleges that Marshall shot at a man in the 2700 block of Iva Court on June 28, 2025. A home in the nearby 2700 block of Scotties Drive was also struck by bullets. A 911 caller reporting the shooting said they found a bullet hole in their son’s room…
