OGLE COUNTY, Ill (WTVO) — A crash detection alert on a cellphone led the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office to arrest a woman for DUI early Sunday morning.
According to the police, deputies were dispatched around 1:15 a.m. to the 4000 block of East Illinois Route 72 for reports of an overturned vehicle.
Deputies made contact with the driver, identified as 52-year-old Nicole Henke. Investigators said Henke failed to navigate a curve on Route 72 and caused her vehicle to exit the roadway, overturn, and come to a rest on its top after driving through thick bushes…
