(COLORADO SPRINGS) — If you’ve filled up on gas the last few days, you may have felt more pressure on your wallet. AAA data shows the average price of unleaded gas surged nearly 50 cents over the past week in Colorado. This spike in prices at the pump is now stirring up issues for many rideshare drivers across our state.
According to AAA, the national average of regular gas is $4.45. Colorado’s statewide average is $4.43, compared to $3.98 one week ago. In Colorado Springs, the average is $4.46 right now, after sitting around $3.96 a week ago.
