PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — The Providence Performing Arts Center is temporarily saying goodbye to its beloved organ, which is set to get its first full restoration.
The instrument was built in 1927 and is one of three ever made of its kind.
“It’s not just a plaything or a cool invention. It’s a living, moving, breathing musical instrument,” PPAC house organist Peter Krasinski said.
