NYPD detective arrested on Staten Island, charged with robbery

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — An NYPD detective was arrested on Staten Island early Tuesday morning and charged with robbery, according to police.

Daniel Magrino, 36, was taken into custody around 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 5 in the 123rd Precinct, the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information wrote in a statement.
