ALPHARETTA, Ga. — Since 2000, Casa Nuova Italian Restaurant’s annual block party has served as owner Maria Fondura’s way of thanking the Alpharetta community for more than two decades of support.
More than 600 people attended the restaurant’s May 3 block party and raised $30,500. They filled a buffet line that wrapped around the building as they awaited pasta, empanadas, brisket and seafood paella cooked live at the center of it all.
