BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (NBC 15) — The Baldwin County Commission is seeking guidance from the Alabama attorney general on whether it can impose a temporary moratorium on solar developments in unincorporated areas, as concerns grow over a proposed large-scale project near Stockton.
Commissioners approved a resolution authorizing the county attorney to request a formal opinion on the legality of temporary moratoriums on certain land use and construction approvals in areas without zoning regulations.
