Pawtucket firefighter on leave after NYC arrest

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — A Pawtucket firefighter is on leave after getting arrested for breaking down a door frame and struggling with a man inside a New York City home.

Dante Stubbs, 26, of Pawtucket, was arrested on April 25 and charged with burglary, criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a child, according to the criminal complaint provided by the Bronx District Attorney’s Office.

A New York Police Department spokesperson told Target 12 they responded to the intersection of Minnieford Avenue and Bridge Street to a complaint of burglary at about 8:30 p.m.
