Chicken Salad Chick, a Southern fast-casual chain, is expanding into the Philadelphia market with six new locations planned across Chester and Montgomery counties.
According to a VISTA.TODAY report, the group is actively searching for spots, with one property identified in Montgomery County. Others include Paoli, West Chester, and Exton in Chester County.
A franchise development group led by Amanda Furiato and her fiancé Ryan Metz, along with Drew Christy, Furiato’s brother, is behind the expansion plans. After doing some research, they found that chicken salad was one of the few food concepts not oversaturated in the Philadelphia market.
