Wooden heron statue stolen from Brandon Main Street

BRANDON, Miss. (WLBT) – The Brandon Main Street Association is asking for its statue back after the wooden heron disappeared.

The group posted on social media Tuesday that the heron is missing, joking, “Bad news: our heron is missing. Good news: he’s not very fast on foot.”

Anyone who has seen the statue, or “accidentally adopted him,” is asked to return it to the flower box under the mural. No questions asked…
