CONWAY, S.C. (WPDE) — The Town Green Splash Pad is temporarily closed due to current drought conditions, according to a Facebook post from the City of Conway.
Officials said severe drought conditions are expected to persist and “require immediate conservation efforts across the community.”
Officials said here are some ways to help conserve water:
- Limit outdoor watering and irrigation
- Water early morning or late at night to reduce evaporation
- Fix leaks and avoid unnecessary water use
- Run full loads in dishwashers and washing machines
- Turn off the tap while brushing teeth
