Passenger pinned against tree after Marin County truck crash

(KRON) — Two people were injured after a truck crashed in Tamalpais Valley Tuesday morning, including a passenger who was trapped against a tree, according to the Marin County Fire Department.

MCFD said crews responded at 11:50 a.m. to the area of Waterview Drive and West California Avenue for a report of a vehicle crash.

Fire officials said the driver had already removed themselves from the truck and was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

“The passenger side of the vehicle was pinned against a tree, trapping the second patient,” said MCFD in a social media post. “Firefighters utilized hydraulic extrication tools, including spreaders, to safely remove the patient.”…
