Edwardsville, Glen Carbon area restaurant inspections for April 27-May 1

Madison County Food Health Sanitation Program conducted a series of inspections in the Edwardsville area from April 27-May 1.

Below are the results:

April 28

Global Brew, Edwardsville

  • Food packaging must be in good condition so that foods are not exposed to adulteration or potential contamination.
  • Time/temperature control for safety food is not maintained at 41F, or less.
  • Food prepared and held in a food establishment for more than 24 hours must be clearly marked to indicate the date or day by which the food must be consumed on the premises, sold, or discarded when held at a temperature of 41F or less for a maximum of seven days.
  • Gaskets on the cooler door are cracked or missing. Replace the damaged or missing gaskets.
  • Clean all non-food contact surfaces frequently to prevent soil accumulation.
  • Plumbing needs repair. Repair according to Illinois and local plumbing code.
