WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – As the cool air remains locked in over the Plains, the chances for showers will linger through Wednesday before it dries off and warms up. Highest rainfall is still likely across western Kansas where up to an inch remains possible, but farther east the amounts will drop off. South central Kansas will likely receive under .25″
It will be cloudy and cool again Wednesday with highs in the 40s and 50s, but much of the state will see 70s again Thursday.
A chance for thunderstorms is still on track for Mother’s Day weekend, but it should be limited to Saturday evening and most likely for central and eastern Kansas. A few hail storms are possible, but widespread severe weather is unlikely…
