Medina firefighter injured during house fire

MEDINA TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WOIO) – A Medina firefighter was trapped when a ceiling collapsed during a house fire Tuesday on Maggie Marie Boulevard.

The Medina Fire Department was called about 4:52 p.m. to a house fire in Medina Township. When firefighters arrived, there was fire in the home’s garage that had spread into the attic and interior.

The firefighter was taken to Medina Hospital, evaluated, and released later that evening.

He is now at home and “doing well,” according to the department…
