A listing from Cutler Real Estate shows an asking price of about $2.25 million for the 3,415-square-foot building, constructed in 1968, and its approximately one-acre lot.

The listing states that an opportunity exists to own or lease a restaurant, or to redevelop the property. Eastern Bay Chinese Restaurant has not made any announcements regarding the listing or responded to NBC4’s request for comment.

The eatery’s website says it has been operating for more than 20 years, but online sources do not specify an exact opening year. The Franklin County Auditor’s Office shows the building last sold for $297,000 in 1996 and records $0 ownership transfers in 2004 and 2017.
