A powerful cold front is pushing through the Deep South right now, and forecasters are warning that the most dangerous conditions will arrive when most people are already in bed.
What Is Active Right Now in Georgia
The National Weather Service Peachtree City issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook this morning covering north and central Georgia through Thursday. There is currently a Flood Watch in effect for all of Atlanta, metro, and most of North Georgia between 4 PM Wednesday and 8 AM Thursday. This is also the timeframe when strong damaging winds, tornadoes, and lightning are possible.
