Pedestrian struck by driver at Staten Island intersection

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A driver struck a pedestrian at a major intersection in Arrochar on Wednesday morning.

A 911 call about a woman struck by a driver at the intersection of Fingerboard Road and Narrows Road South was received around 7:15 a.m., according to a spokesperson for the FDNY.

The woman was taken by EMS to Richmond University Medical Center in West Brighton. The spokesperson was unable to provide the woman’s condition.

Traffic cameras near the intersection showed a large black pickup truck that was pulled over on the northbound side of the Fingerboard Road overpass with FDNY, NYPD and EMS on the scene…
