Search underway for wanted man in Gadsden Co. who fled into woods during arrest attempt

GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) – Officials are looking for a man in Gadsden County who fled into the woods after law enforcement tried to arrest him on outstanding warrants on Wednesday at about 1 p.m..

The sheriff’s office says they are searching near 374 River Road for Kedrick Debron, who is wanted for driving offenses, including felony fleeing and eluding and driving while license suspended or revoked. GCSO says an additional charge of resisting without violence is pending.

After law enforcement arrived at Debron’s home to arrest him, he fled and ran toward the woods. A deputy deployed their taser, but “was unsuccessful due to thick clothing worn by Debron,” according to GCSO…
