With former Mayor Cathy Skurow stepping down, the city of Portland is turning the page to its next chapter. And its story is one that new mayor John Green vows to continue telling with integrity, honesty, and transparency.
During Portland’s regular city council meeting on May 6, Skurow officially handed the reins over to Green as the city’s new mayor-elect, as she has decided not to seek reelection. Council member Zach Albrecht was also sworn in, and Gary Moore will be sworn in at a later date.
