COLUMBIA, S.C. — Law enforcement officers, families and community members gathered at the South Carolina State House Tuesday evening for the 20th Annual South Carolina Law Enforcement Memorial ceremony, honoring officers who died in the line of duty in 2025.
The ceremony recognized the lives and service of Nathaniel Ansay, a deputy with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office; Devin Mason, a deputy with the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office; and Dennis Ricks, a trooper first class with the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
