Burglary suspect found bleeding on top of semi-truck in South Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Nashville authorities said they arrested a bloody and inebriated man who was found on top of a semi-truck at a Murfreesboro Pike gas station early Tuesday morning.

According to the affidavit, the Metro Nashville Police Department was called to a report of a “disorderly individual, covered in blood, climbing on top of a semi” in the parking lot in the 1300 block of Murfreesboro Pike shortly after 4 a.m. on Tuesday, May 5. When officers discovered 45-year-old Jose Manuel Gomez on top of the vehicle, he reportedly had a severe laceration to his right hand consistent with breaking out the windows of Herc Rentals, a business across the street from the gas station that specializes in construction grade equipment.
