NEW ELLENTON, S.C. (WJBF) – According to New Ellenton Police Department, 18-year-old Silver Bluff High School senior Nyema Askew White is missing.
Nyema White was last seen by family at their home on the 500 block of East Pine Street Monday, May 4th, 2026, around 5 p.m. after her mother dropped her off there following a Silver Bluff band event.
According to family and friends who spoke to New Ellenton Police Department, Silver Bluff senior Nyema White was set to graduate at the end of the month, with plans to attend college next year after graduation, making her disappearance, to those who loved and knew her, very uncharacteristic of the hard-working bandmember preparing for her future…
