CAPE CORAL, Fla. (WWSB) – Florida Highway Patrol troopers proved Thursday morning the job’s not all about speeders when they saved a lost dog from drowning in a Cape Coral canal.
At about 2:40 a.m., a trooper saw a Malinois, apparently lost, running south on the sidewalk of Del Prado Boulevard in Cape Coral, the FHP said.
The dog ran down a side street, darted between houses, and jumped into a salt water canal…
