Motorcycle rider dies from injuries in April crash near Food Lion on Highway 48/13

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A Clarksville man has died from his injuries following a motorcycle crash last month in Montgomery County.

On April 3 at about 4 p.m., Mark Vincent Johnson Jr., 49, was riding a 2001 Harley Davidson south on Highway 48, according to a Tennessee Highway Patrol preliminary report obtained by Clarksville Now.

An 84-year-old woman driving a 2022 Buick Encore was attempting to turn left from Highway 48 into the Food Lion parking lot near Dean Road. She crashed into the motorcycle, sending Johnson and the motorcycle onto a third vehicle that was at the parking lot exit, the THP report said…
