Two people were injured in a shooting at an apartment complex in Southern Pines on Thursday afternoon, according to police.
The Southern Pines Police Department said officers were called around 12:17 p.m. to a reported shooting inside a residence in the 900 block of Richards Street, located within the Brookside Park Apartment community.
When officers arrived, they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. Police said both injuries are non-life-threatening. They were taken to FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital for treatment.
