MIAMI (WSVN) – A Miami man was arrested after investigators said he staged a shooting and falsely claimed a masked intruder shot him in the foot in an attempt to conceal a stolen firearm, according to a Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office arrest affidavit.
Joel Morales-Saez, 46, faces charges including armed burglary, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, tampering with evidence, dealing in stolen property and filing a false police report, according to an arrest affidavit.
