MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) —The Planning Commission for the City of Murfreesboro is moving ahead with a new roadway project connecting Interstate 840 and Interstate 24, creating an east-west connection on the northern side of the city.

The proposed Cherry Lane/Stonesbattle Parkway Corridor would connect Lebanon Pike to I-840, Northwest Broad Street to Florence Road, and eventually, with I-24. It is not known yet whether there will be an interchange at Stonesbattle Parkway.
