Smyrna, Tenn. (WKRN) — In the heart of Smyrna, visitors can find a hidden gem that specializes in educational programs for kids. These programs are geared towards helping children learn while keeping them active, healthy and igniting their imagination.
For nearly a decade, Smyrna’s Outdoor Adventure Center has been a special addition to the community. And as part of the Smyrna Parks and Recreation Department, Parks Director Mike Moss said the center is becoming a staple of its own.
“We used to say it’s the best kept secret in Middle Tennessee, but when you see the crowds that we get, that is not the case anymore,” Moss explained. “It was a big deal for the town. It gave the Parks and Recreation Department Indoor Space, which we didn’t have a whole lot of.”…
