Fast‑growing Alabama district unveiling $58 million in new arts and sports facilities

For years, Foley High School’s girls sports teams squeezed into a small, overcrowded weight room where multiple programs competed for space.

The setup fell far short of what a Class 7A school needed, especially one experiencing rapid growth and rising participation.

“We had a space, but it was not large enough,” said Foley High School Principal Jessica Webb. “We more than doubled it and finish it off to make it look collegiate. I think we’ve done that. We’re so proud of our female athletes there.”…
