Anne Arundel County Police are investigating a targeted stabbing that injured an adult male early Thursday morning outside a hotel in Laurel.
Officers responded at about 3:50 a.m. on May 7 to the 3300 block of Laurel Fort Meade Road for a reported stabbing. Police said the victim reported that he and two others had been parked nearby in the Garden Inn parking lot in the 3400 block of Laurel Fort Meade Road when three unknown masked males approached him as he stood outside his vehicle.
Police Say Victim Was Stabbed During Altercation
Police said a physical altercation followed, and one of the suspects stabbed the victim in the torso. The two people inside the vehicle attempted to drive away, and police said a rock was thrown at the driver’s side window, shattering the glass and striking the driver in the left arm.
The stabbing victim was able to take possession of the knife before all three suspects fled, according to police. The victim was taken to an area trauma center in stable condition…
