TOWN OF VAN BUREN, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — State police ended their criminal investigation into the death of a Baldwinsville woman from what they previously suspected was a hit-and-run.
Investigators concluded that 53-year-old Tammy Langford-Michels was lying in the roadway when a driver struck her on Dec. 7, according to a statement from New York State Police spokesperson Jennifer Jiron.
By the time state police responded to the scene that morning, Langford-Michel was deceased, and her body had “injuries consistent with being struck by a motor vehicle,” Jiron said. But investigators believe she wasn’t dragged by the car…
