Will County Board Speaker Joe VanDuyne announces that the EarthRise Pride of the Prairie solar project will be considered at the following meetings in May.
- Planning and Zoning Commission: The Will County Planning and Zoning Commission will continue its Public Hearing on the project pursuant to court order at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12 at the Renaissance Center, 214 N. Ottawa St., in downtown Joliet.
- Executive Committee: The project will advance to the Will County Board’s Executive Committee scheduled for 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 14 at the Will County Office Building, 302 N. Chicago St. in downtown Joliet.
- Will County Board: The full Will County Board is scheduled to take a final vote on the project at its meeting scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Thursday, May 21 at the Will County Office Building, 302 N. Chicago St. in downtown Joliet.
Pride of the Prairie Solar covers 6,000 acres in Manhattan, Green Garden, and Wilton Townships.
