NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) – A local musician is asking for community support after his newborn son was flown to a NICU center in Omaha.
Rascal Martinez and his wife, Terra, welcomed their second child on May 4. Martinez said Baby Leo arrived via C-section one month prematurely and will need specialized care for an extended amount of time in the NICU.
“We are incredibly grateful for the dedicated medical team caring for him, but this journey has brought emotional and financial challenges we were not prepared for,” Martinez said.
