It was an emotional scene in Belmont as one family was reunited with its cat, Ritchie, after it was stuck inside a fire-damaged apartment building for over two weeks.
Julia Silva cried out, “Ay mi niño!” as she held her 9-year-old cat Ritchie, after he was rescued from the building on East 187th Street.
The building has been vacant since April 21, when a deadly fire killed two people and forced residents out of their homes…
