HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) – Detectives with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a deadly shooting in Bloomingdale.
Leaders with HCSO say deputies were called to Caliente Drive Thursday at about 7 p.m. According to investigators, they found a man with gunshot wounds to the upper body who was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead.
Robert Portee said he heard multiple shots sound near his home.
“I live right here, I heard the gunshots like it was in my own yard,” he describes, “I didn’t really come out at once but then I saw cop cars.”…
