NORMAN, Okla. (KFOR) – A massive data breach has hit numerous universities nationwide and at least two in Oklahoma.
OU Daily is reporting that the OU campus has been hit with a major computer breach alongside close to 9,000 universities across the nation by a hacker group.
On Thursday, students at OU were met with a message from ShinyHunters, a criminal extortion group, when attempting to access Canvas, the university’s learning management system, according to OU Daily.
