WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A man was sentenced on Thursday for a deadly Wichita shooting in 2019.
Malcolm Norris was sentenced to more than 10 years in prison and three years of post-release supervision for second-degree reckless murder in the death of 23-year-old Marquez Hutton.
In April 2019, Wichita police were dispatched to a neighborhood in east Wichita, where they found Hutton in a backyard with a gunshot wound to the upper chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
