Health officials warn against using vintage cups from Dayton restaurant

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ohio (WKEF) — Montgomery County Department of Public Health is advising residents to stop using vintage cups that were given away at a Dayton restaurant due to lead.

Vintage cups were given out at the Root Beer Stande restaurant at 1727 South Woodman Drive in Dayton.

A customer complaint prompted the Public Health to test for lead. Lead can be found in the decorative coatings and glazes on vintage dishware, which can cause serious health risks…
