Police are searching for a man who, they say, walked up to a 13-year-old boy riding an electric bike on a Bay Ridge sidewalk and shoved him off, leaving the teen with cuts to his face. The assault happened in front of 9524 Fort Hamilton Parkway at about 4:30 p.m. on April 20, and EMS took the boy to Maimonides Medical Center. According to police, he suffered lacerations to his face and lip and is expected to recover. After the shove, investigators say the suspect ran north on Fort Hamilton Parkway and into the 95th Street/4th Avenue subway station.
